CMM Calibration and Servicing

All our CMM inspection services are verified to the ISO 10360-2 standard and supported by a UKAS certificate of calibration. All our servicing work is verified to the ISO 10360-2 standard by incorporating calibrated artefacts, probe systems, and software.

Expose and inspect the machine
Remove covers to safely access internal components, then check all mechanical parts, electrical connections, wiring, drive systems and control systems to identify wear, faults or anything needing adjustment.

Verify and optimise measurement performance
Assess overall machine functionality using specialist calibrated artefacts, then check and adjust machine geometry, drive systems and control parameters as required, cleaning and replacing parts where necessary to restore reliable, consistent operation.

Reassemble and secure for use
Once all checks and adjustments are complete, replace covers and ensure the machine is safely reassembled, ready to return to service.
UKAS-accredited calibration and inspection services provide independent assurance that measurements are traceable and compliant with recognised British and International Standards. This helps manufacturers demonstrate due diligence, meet legal and regulatory requirements, and support robust quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
