    The DeMeet optical CMM range is designed, developed and manufactured by Schut Geometrical Metrology, a company with more than 50 years of experience in precision measuring equipment and optical measurement systems.

    The DeMeet-220 is developed as a personal desktop optical CMM, ideal for compact inspection tasks, while the DeMeet-400 series provides a versatile all-round solution for larger parts or higher-volume measurement cycles. At the top end of the range, the DeMeet-705 delivers expanded capability for more demanding measurement applications.

    A major benefit of optical CMM measurement is that features can be inspected without physical contact, eliminating the risk of product deformation or surface damage.

    Measurement speed and accuracy are also enhanced by the image view defined by the selected lens magnification, enabling highly accurate results to be captured efficiently within the visible field.

    Each DeMeet optical CMM is equipped with a Sony CCD colour camera, providing a clear, high-resolution image with excellent contrast for reliable feature detection. 

  • Flexible magnification for detailed optical measurement
    Depending on the configuration, DeMeet machines are fitted with Nikon, Leica-design or Mitutoyo optics, delivering display magnification from 40x to 400x. This allows the system to be matched to a broad range of components and inspection requirements, from small, detailed features through to larger precision parts.

  • Programmable illumination for accurate edge definition
    Accurate optical measurement depends heavily on lighting, and all DeMeet optical CMMs are equipped as standard with three programmable light sources: ring light, coaxial light and backlight.

    The three-ring LED light can be controlled by individual ring, segment and cell, allowing the user to optimise contrast, edge definition, intensity and angle for each application. The LED backlight and coaxial light are also adjustable, with coaxial illumination particularly useful for features located deeper within the component.

  • Multi-sensor capability for greater measurement flexibility
    The DeMeet range is also available in multi-sensor configuration, enabling combined non-contact and contact measurement within the same system. Where optical inspection reaches its physical limits, the machines can be equipped with a touch probe system to extend capability.

    Approve for DeMeet software provides a true multi-sensor environment, allowing video and touch probe data to be displayed, reported, exported and used together in common measurement constructs.

    Results are dynamically updated and can also be viewed in a 3D environment, giving users a sophisticated yet user-friendly platform for both 2D and 3D measurement.
